A laptop is on the way, a surprise birthday gift in advance!

What i thought was supposed to be a shopping trip today for my birthday next month, turned out to a surprise from my hubby who had something else in mind... he couldn't wait to gift me my personal laptop on my birthday 25th Feb, he did it today!!!! I'm extremely excited... as i don't have to break my back and neck any more!!!! lol... Love you darling ;-) :-)

That was a facebook status update i posted yesterday, but my laptop hasn't yet arrived! I'm sure it will, soon, as the delivery was supposed to today but could have been help up due to reasons only known to my hubby. I'm too excited and dying to bid gooodbye to my desktop because i'll no more have to take pains sitting continuously in one place or even break my neck and back by the posture i sit for hours!My desktop is positioned awkwardly and it does affect my eyes too!

Anyways, my first personal lappie and gifted in advance, just too much to digest for now! haha i'll be retiring and my kids are gonna replace me here! they've already been playing on the other desktops at home but this screen is huge and good for games. We're all too excited! but lets see, hopefully tomorrow will be receiving the awaited package and there is lots more to celebrate about... i'm not saying anything now... ;-) :-)

I'm too hooked on to facebook these days, no time for anything else. Dont know whats gotten into me that i'm on to build my kingdom in a day! I'm working day and night to build it for my people, no food or water but my hard work seems to be the only soul mate and lifes essential things for me to live.

Life is beautiful on the outside but on the onside its a sore, barren land i'm building my strength upon. The foundation laid wasnt strong, the bricks will fall to ashes! So let me build my merry kingdom on a foundation as solid as rock! ;-)

The very fancy and pricey hospital i underwent treatment for more than a year is burnt, turned into a death trap for patients who went there to heal... the patients chocked to death by toxic fumes... negligence from staff, docs... passing by the hosp area will always give me shivers remembering this devastating disaster that occurred in my city... praying for strength and peace to the deceased and their families...

Bad year for me; November surprise me!

Dont know why my senses not working cant seem to write anything, lost my inspiration to write poetry and its not a feel good thing at all! :( I don't think i could put anymore effort into making others happy draining whatever i have left of me! Its not worth, its just pointless when you're not going to get appreciated in return!

Why do people you give your whole self to, never want to appreciate it in the first place but do expect lot more?

Once again we're on November, the month that was always special to me for some reasons unmentionable here but i can only hope this year which i didn't expect would be pain and nothing more will bring me some happiness before we bid farewell into a new year!

New wishlist as Christmas is nearing! :-)

Just cant wait for my big shopping spree coming on this month and the next. Cant believe Christmas is just a few days from now(it feels so, at least) and i ain't prepared when I'm supposed to be the perfectionist when it comes to organizing parties! I've rarely been doing in recent years but when i used to, it was one hell of a party for everyone! Anyway, so I've got a new wish list and to be the host of any party, one got to be the best dressed amongst all the others in the room! See, that's what i said i ain't hosting parties if I'm not perfectly dressed to be the host ;-)

I've already bought a few things i was missing in my make up and skin care kit, and quite satisfied with the ponds newest white beauty, will review that later after few days of using, but it already feels so great to use, and the skin feel soft and supple unlike the previous white beauty. So, I'm quite keen on trying the other newest products to be lounged in the market soon! Cant wait actually but its not yet salary time for me and I've already made holes in my hubbies pockets! hehe..

I'm not a person who would pounce on every new product out but it doesn't harm to try the products i think products are essential for my make up and skin care kit... Miss my sister baby sis Amanda(Mandy) who turns sweet 16 today and wondering what shes doing today as she might be celebrating her birthday at the boarding but i wont be able to wish her, coz when we are not even able to meet her, talk to her, or even share sisterly affection being so close yet so far... i wont be able to wish her but on this day i would like to tell her to reach for the stars, never settle for less, and live life to it's fullest.. i'm sad i cant wish you but i did dream about it which means I live reality in dreams, strange but true... we'll be together some day, and we'll make up for all the sisterly love, and fights we missed...and want her to know i'm thinking about her and that i love and care for her... :) :(

Feeling a little down and too emotionally exhausted but better in health today, not that i'm completely recovered but got to push myself to do things i don't feel like... still got fever and body ache, feels as if my bones are being crushed between boulders! I'm also developing a mind blockage, cant seem to find proper words to express what i'm trying to say, but of course i can understand i'm being ignored, thing is cant even understand how people can ignore you when you've been their pillar of strength at one point of time. Seems as if there is guilt within them...

Things don't seem to fall into place for me... wonder if i'm asking for too much from others! People just deny facts and lie up to your face and that is what gets on my nerves when people don't own up to mistakes! Rather blame others for their own faults and its definitely not fair on their parts but at the moment just got to have the patience to see what falls into place soon... got to watch my steps, for if i react and it doesn't go well with others, might spoil the whole scenario i created! So lets just smile with teary eyes and keep the game on......

Health and emotional issues plague once again...

Seems like it raining too many hailstones on my this year again. The weather is not at all good to me, coz even though it rains heavily nurturing mother earth, i'm not being nurtured but shattered to pieces! Fever, aches, and cough seems to have raided my body giving me the chills of never-ending 'missing you's'... i miss so many people in my life at the point of time when i don't even know which shall win over, life or death! All i can do is pen down and vent out....

Every time i think of new life, i never even next to it and my life turns bitter with every new chapter i begin with... for every chapter i flip over has its bitter sweet memories, and its lessons taught and learned. But i don't want to talk about chapters now, its about my health which i've always been neglecting wasting my energy on useless things! Got to incorporated a healthy lifestyle once again into my daily routine for how it was last year, i would have been mellowing in glad tidings by now... for me to hint and you to understand ;-)

And once again i will have to withdraw from certain things i walked into too hastily without thinking... i will not walk away but give time to myself and everyone else to understand what is what before finally deciding further...

While the world complains about mischievous kids, mine is the calmest kid i honestly have no complains about... i have people saying if child marriage was legal, would get their sons married to her!!! Fever, cough and body-aches; lord not another year!

With brain fluctuations as if a light bulb keeps flashing in my head which pains, fever, vomiting, cough and body-aches i'm going to go insane in the next few days! i sense so many things about to happen to me... but i don't want to repeat another year of treatments and torturous medicines so what going to happen only the one above knows! This year hadn't really taken off well with lot of incidents occurring and too many snakes to handle but somehow managed to wade through it all with quite ease, as least i'm where i am without being harmed! I realized it's not God who's given us tough times but it's our own actions and decisions in life which places us in the position we are in....

We don't blame God when good and satisfactory things happen to us and thank him for the contentment... but we blame him for not listening and answering our prayers in unpleasant times, but what we don't realize is that, what is life if there is no suffering... after all one learns from mistakes when temptations strike and gains from the pains you endure!

Whatever it is, i hope and pray for happier times ahead... Happy Sat/Sunday everyday! :-)

One more week to go for Alisha's 5th Birthday! The day a Chinese angelic looking pinkish baby seemed as if dropped into my arms from the heavens above on the 18th of Oct. She bought into my life much delight and happiness and today whatever is left of my happiness is because of her. A girl had always been my dream and so was my dream fulfilled by the one above whom i know has a hand in one of my greatest dreams coming true. I never knew what was to be born a girl or boy but longed for a girl and it was strange that though i never really knew what gender was taking form in my tummy i had already kept a name ready for her. Not once did did i think a boy would be born, as i always referred to "she" and "her" while talking about the baby inside me. I already had my son and now longed for a daughter whom i could dress and she was born much to the image of what i had of her!!

I would to share my birth story, and i will, so my dear readers do tune into my blog for a mothers birth story of her Angel on the 18th of Oct! Cya all for now........ :-)

Google Pagerank update disheartens and scares me!

With the latest Google pr update i'm not in mood to let angst eat me for petty matters of the heart, yet i am so damn peeved with the fact that despite working much harder than what i used to last year, i am still made to taste Googles bitter penalty!
I wonder where i went wrong or its just an update which is still in process and due to that the none of our blogs pr is available. Some are showing as N/A... so just hoping its not a drop!

Its almost a year i had an intact pr3 so its extremely disheartening to wake up to it suddenly vanishing one day! But then i discussed with a few friends and they think the same of the update still in progress and that our pr would be restored once Google's done.

With my fingers crossed i think i should pen of here...

Outing tomorrow... sometimes its good to move out of my palace/fortress

Welcome October! so we have stepped on the month i had been waiting for... time to put in our cottons and pull out the woolens! Its also the month when the Autumn season begins. I begin writing a poem about the season but i've left to complete for i need to really focus on intense emotions to write unlike now... i'm a bit gloomy, but not that intense when i can focus on my emotions and pen them down.

Lets see what tomorrow will bring for this caged bird as i will be going out to a heritage Plaza in my city named Swabhumi. A home bird who hardly move out of home when walks in open space would surely bring eyes upon me as i feel like an alien being stared at. But anyways, i love shopping there at the part apart from admiring the place with all its olden calcutta architectural history as derived from a legend and feasting! Mouth watering pani puri (We all love it, don't we, esp the calcuttans :-)) and other other traditional Rajasthani, Gujarati and South Indian dishes, and more, are served, tantalizing your taste buds such much until you savor them contentedly!

Here is where you get the best, people say who flock to our city during tourism visits or relatives visiting. But let me tell you that most of all the shopping is what i love. What attracts me most is all the traditional stuff you there, i never get to see anywhere else in the whole city. There are also programms and events which take place at the courtyard, and its a delight to watch the clowns walking on stilts come up to you and shake hands esp the kids who are most of the times frightened! Aryan as a kid was always scared of the clowns and so is Alisha when she is the same age as Aryan was as a funk! Hehe..

A great sense of peace and calm is what i get from this place... so it's a must to visit at least once in few months at least if i cant possibly make it every month :-)

Bidding Goodbye to September- welcome October!

And so we are bidding goodbye to a month that was paved with thorns and a few roses, with a river of tears and wee bit of happiness. The month of September had seen me on an emotional roller coaster, with outbursts of harsh and cold feelings, and sometimes on the wings of a dove... but as i keep saying that its a part of life! Don't know what will October bring for me as but for sure i always get nostalgic about things gone by. But hope to see a new September when it comes around next year :-)

On the 18Th of next month my Alisha will turn 5 years, OMG! i just cant believe how the years have flown by... she was a little baby in my arms and now she is one talkative girl blossoming into the flower i want her to grow into. She can talk so much that it leaves me amazed sometimes, if i'm hearing the same pinkish little Chinese baby i bought home from the hospital :-)

Its been months i have written about her... how i wish i could sit and pen down everything i remember in these months... all the milestones... some maybe i had even missed out being so busy! Phew! But yeah come her birthday and i would be the happiest mom to see my daughter touching a new one! Her fifth birthday! Welcome everyone, to the party of the 18Th :-)

I was in a dilemma with blogger was experiencing downtime yesterday

Was in for a shock yesterday when i tried logging into my blogger dashboard coz to my disappointment i was greeted with a page error! I had loads of pending work and was unable to connect to blogger... no site hosted on blog-spot was opening too. Was frustrating as ever and it was then i was regretting not having my self hosted on blog-spot! I wouldn't have bothered if there no assignments to be completed but then i did have and was in a dilemma whether i was the only one facing the issue or were there others too! I also posted a status on my Facebook wall but i guess none of my lovely friends did notice... hmmm.. as i always say everyone is busy updating their own, so its ok! I was relieved by my hubby in the morning, (its my morning the same time we have our lunch) who informed me as i awoke from my sleep that blogger was working fine so i need no worry any more. On hearing those words i jumped out of bed to check and only when i saw it with my own eyes was i relieved from heart! I gave a slight sigh and went on to do other house activities.

Thank god i did have a few hours in hand, its an added bonanza i guess... if not, i would have been doomed for sure! Thanks Social spark for the extended timing, and blogitive too!

I hate Networked Blogs! phew! they don't seem to auto syndicate the feed on time and if they do, hours later, or else some errors prevent the darn feeds from being pulled in at all, and i hate doing it manually! Think i got to move away to a new found island... Blovin is great! Cant rely on NB, tried but in vain... :-(

Every time i try to auto syndicate my feeds on to my Facebook and twitter but nothing doing, i still get the error email which frustrates me a lot because then i have to look it up and do a little of this and that, which i hate doing. I thought it was so easier... But Bloglovin is a community which not only notifies you of your favorite blogs being updated, can also use it to syndicate the feeds. So its a great new found community for me and you can try it too :-)

I was so into the song for a few hours that i even penned a poem, a dance balled coz it felt as if i was dancing with my partner all alone under the moonlit night, but with the birds and night creatures as the audience. The words might not be connected to a dance thingy but the music was so slow, haunting yet melodious and i got the words into my mind perfect enough to fit into a poem... lol...

Something seems to overpower me once again after months i feel myself on the verge of breaking down again... on the verge of a deadly battle between heart and mind. I've struggled to pull myself together during the last few traumatic months, and throughout the terrible year and finally got myself together to face the world. God help me get rid of this anxiety, these fears, the negativeness and the anguish that seems to overwhelm my soul. Calm the restless sea within me...

There has already been a fight in the past few months, i have lost a lot and i don't want to lose again. I don't want to take a chance where i know i might just give myself up as i see my heart breaking into pieces scattered all over the place. My heart feels like its been shredded and crushed for reasons only known to me. The waves have been crashing on my tender heart for too long now and its too much to bear... On a night when the weather is just perfect, and a bowl of flavored butter pepper popcorn to go with it, what else could be the perfect way for family entertainment! nothing else for me, coz i get to comfortably cuddle up with family on the couch watching that much awaited flick on Tele or the latest movie released which i'm were lucky enough to get my hands on!

But one thing that irritates me is the fact that sometimes i'm actually out of stock for popcorn at home and especially when i'm just about ready to settle down, i find this out! No matter how much i tell my hubby to stock up packets, we always fall short of popcorn which happens to be my favorite movie snack! This is the time i think i should invest in a popcorn machine! I should pick the pop corn machine for home use which is affordable and ideal for smaller gatherings when i have visitors at home. The smaller 4 oz. machine is ideal for kids while the bigger 8 oz is ideal for entertaining elder guests.

I have seen a lot of people talk about Karma on their status's on Fb and finally got to see it visiting someone in my own circle who has been very unfair with me over the years... it must have been an angel visiting when i came across the person which wasn't quite the case when i thought it was, and no one is ever saved from tasting karma. Its natures way of showing you what goes around comes around!!

The ground i was in a few years ago, i see the person standing on that ground looking towards me and i cant help but turn away coz i can actually do nothing about it and sometimes its good for people to learn a lesson they deserve.

Last but not the least thing i would like to say, i don't think i should be happy enough seeing the person in the helpless state they are in right now but i just cant help but convince myself that there is nothing i have done and its just karma's doings. That the sooner they realize how bad it hurts to be in the same shoes, the quicker would they be saved from bringing sins upon themselves by hurting others.

Don't know what made me say this despite the fact that i'm always a little saddened in life for reasons only known to my heart, my best friend in dark times like this. Its not like i lack anything in life but i also miss my mom aside other things, and its those memories that at times make me utterly sad, and depressed when i think i want to talk to her and share some of my deepest secrets with her but then i cant. So, if were with me today i would be many times happier... :-)

Christmas is just a few months away! excited!

I cant believe August is no more, we will be welcoming it back again next year but then who knows whether they there will a next year or not! life is so unpredictable... i just keep hoping and praying i get to see another August since it has always been an important month in my life. Its like we were enjoying 31st July, our wedding anniversary and suddenly we are over with 31st August!

With June, July, August gone, we are just a few months away from Dec, the Christmas month! So exited from now! And soon we will be ending year 2011, welcoming year 2012! It was like as i had celebrated Christmas and new year just a few days ago but then its months past since and i am still sailing in an unstable boat!

Lets see what Sept and the remaining few months bring for me, i hope lots of everything ;)

Also known as 'breaking of the fast' when the new moon will be spotted. The festival is considered one the biggest and important festivals of the Muslims. A time to celebrate with joy the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting.

Eid-ul-fitr significance and celebrations :
Eid ul Fitr or the 'festival of fast breaking' is the most celebratory of all Muslim festivals. The term 'Eid' has been derived from the Arabic word 'oud', which means 'the return' and hence, signifies the return of the festival each year. The festival is significant as much for its timing, as for its religious implications. It is celebrated after the long fasting month of Ramadan (the ninth month of the Islamic calendar), on the first day of the Shawwal month of the Hijri year (Islamic calendar). Legend says that the Qur'an was revealed to Prophet Mohammed in the last ten days of Ramadan.

The month of Ramadan is historically associated with two important victories of Prophet Muhammad - the battle of Badr and the conquest of Makkah. Fasting during the month of Ramadan, according to Islamic beliefs, helps in developing self-control and is a way of getting closer to Allah. The festival of Eid ul Fitr marks the beginning of celebrations and merriment for a period extending over three days. Women prepare sweets at home and all Muslims are seen adorned with new dresses on this day. Eid ul Fitr is synonymous with joy and thanksgiving. Such is the spirit of this great festival that even a lot of Non-Muslims participate in Eid celebrations in India.

India is the second most populous Islamic nation in the world. Muslims form India's largest minority and constitute almost 12% of the country's total population. Islam is also the most recent religion added to India's already potent cultural concoction. Islam came to India in 12th century AD and began interacting with the Indian culture, particularly under the Mughal era. Needless to say, it was a mutually enriching experience. A majority of Indian Muslims reside in the north, but a significant number is found all across the country. Hence, their traditions add yet another dimension to the vast cultural landscape of India.

I think shopping and my heart begins to dance to unheard music! The joy of shopping has always been endless when you have pockets full and its a festival for which the shopping takes place. Well we are just about to end the period of fasting, the month of Ramadan, which will go on to bring in the festival of the muslims, Eid-Ul-Fitr. I wont talk about the festival but maybe in a day or two. For now i want to bask in the joy of the shopping i'm about to go for. I'm aware of how the malls are going to be jam packed as shopping will be done by all the busy bees for their families which be done in full swing.

I was dying to try out this new and latest perfume that's hit the market, let see! When'll i get the payments for the work done or even then, what is hubby there for... he he.. hes pockets full at this time of the year and its an added advantage when you know you've got some $$$ kept away for a rainy, you can always make the rain come down anytime ;)

Teachers day speech for the 5th of September

Its teachers day on the 5th of September in India and my son Aryan needed a speech for the day, who and what else would i have relied on to help come to aid, except for the internet! How i recovered my deleted bookmarks on chrome

I was in for a heart attack last night when i had by mistake deleted a folder which contained about 30 bookmarks, and all important ones. I was literally praying i would be able to recover the bookmarks myself when suddenly i hit upon an idea, why not Google, and found a solution on the forums. I thought i couldn't do all by myself but i succeeded! So relieved was i that i couldn't help but jump in joy :)

I decided to share with my readers because after searching for an hour i realized this was the only solution, either i was saved or dead... I am still living thankfully :)

If you have not closed Chrome more than twice, you may be in lock.

In Windows Explorer, browse to:

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
Windows Vista: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

You have to have Hidden Folders enabled to find these directories. Otherwise you can just substitute the above in to the address bar, and press enter.

Once there, you should see a bunch of files. Two of which are: "Bookmarks", and "Bookmarks.bak".

Rename the "Bookmarks" file to "Bookmarks.old", or something like that.
Then, rename "Bookmarks.bak" to "Bookmarks", so that the bookmarks backup file (that's what the .bak extension is for) takes the old Bookmarks file's place.

If have have closed Chrome more than twice since losing your bookmarks, they're gone forever... sadly =[

15th Aug- India celebrates Independence Day; history and celebrations

I'd like to wish a very Happy Independence Day, to all the Indians worldwide. Once again, the country will be rejoicing its independence since 1947. As every time, when i write a short post regarding this day, today i will be following up on its history and the celebrations. Its a day to be proud of after all. Independence day(India) flag hoisting and celebrations

The flag which was hoisted when India won its Independence in 1947 is hoisted since then and is an essential part of the ceremony which takes place in the capital of the country, Delhi, every year followed by a delivery of speech from our respected prime minister. The years achievements and the future developments are part of their speech. Along with the prime minister who will pay his tribute to the freedom fighters of our nation tomorrow, i would also like to pay my humble tribute to our great matrys and freedom fighters for it is them, that we are able to see an independent India today. Those fighters who fought and sacrificed their lives in order to save future generations from the rule of the British in India. Its a day of pride and joy in our hearts....

At the red fort, Delhi, the VIPS and its commoners, will gather together to take part in the ceremonies. The hoisting of the Indian flag, the singing of the national anthem as the flag is being hoisted, the followed by the PM's speech, and a perfect parade by officers and jawans. Its also a pleasure to watch the flag hoisting ceremonies and cultural programs which are organised in great enthusiasm in individual school premises, offices and even locally across the country. Sweets are given out, kites soar in the sky, jets color the sky with the tricolors, as part of celebrations and rejoicing. Buildings of importance are decorated. Celebrations are held by local committee members or respective members of particular schools and offices.

History of Independence day(India)

India attained freedom from the grip of British domination and rule back in the 1940's. The tryst of destiny was a speech read out by the then prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru on the stoke on midnight of 15th august 1947, to which India's Independence was declared. The struggle for Indian independence began with the colonialization of India by Europeans. They came to India as traders but over the period of time they rose to power took control of Indian affairs. British occupied most parts of India whereas Portuguese and French also had their influence on few places The first uprising which is noted in the history of independence of India took place in 1857. This first war of Indian independence, was termed as a mutiny by the British. Although not a success, this revolt sowed the seed for a new force, which was to take this struggle to its rightful end. As British oppression strengthened so did the urge to attain the freedom from it. This urge found voice in form of many great leaders such as Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Khudiram Bose, Ram Prasad Bismil,Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to name a few. These great patriots along with a lot unnamed freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the cause of the nation. Independence from the British rule was the sole aim of their lives. This dream of millions of Indians was realized when finally India got freedom on August 15, 1947. The joy of independence brought along with it the grief of partition! The country was divided into two parts – India and Pakistan. Pakistan assumed August 14 as its independence day whereas August 15 was declared the independence day for India.

Suddenly i felt like i was isolated from the world, probably a survivor of an avalanche, abandoned on a lonely island waiting to be hogged by savages! That's how i felt on FB last night when the apps suddenly disappeared and my contacts too. I felt a cold wind pass by me, so lonely.... my chat app was gone and my friends too! Even if there is no one leaving a comment or like, i still feel so connected just watching the updated status flowing/pouring in on my wall. I love reading and leaving a comments on my contacts walls, i know them or not. Fb is experiencing a maintenance error for some reason and i can see many sad faces out there....

Is that how addicted we 'all' are to Face book or is it just me? i guess we are all addicted, because i've seen how crippled one feels... i've felt it and i've also noticed it happening to other users. There are times food wont go down the throat or even if able to, wont be digested if Facebook is not working! literally or not, whatever you want to take it as (;)), but what i mean i bet none of us can actually stop thinking and dying (hehe) to update our status's or to comment on our friends posted status. Or even waiting to see friends online, or to get on the game app and begin our daily chores/activities on our farms and restaurants ;)

What will happen if one day we wake up to find FB is gone with the wind!!?? How would you react, i would really like to know.... :)

Raksha Bandhan also known as Rakhi Day is around the corner in India. Its a celebration being one with the family, a celebration between brothers and sisters in the hindu custom. Well though i am not a hindu but i also do tie a Rakhi (a scared tread of love) on my brother to show him how much i love and care for him.

My blog lies awaiting a new makeover :(

Don't know how to fix some codes in my template which is causing a delay of my blog makeover. 31st of July, i gave myself a deadline.. lol.. but then i had completed the design by then, if only i didn't get stuck up for the code fix. Its days i'm trying to figure out where the culprit code is hidden in order to tweak according to the design. But in vain :( So freaking mind boggling is it trying to do something i'm not good at and never even getting next to anywhere.... i mean i'm dumb at understanding codes :(

I sent my link to one of the professional bloggers to see where the problem lies, lets see when i receive a reply so that i cant fix this soon and rid myself of the tensions and sleepless night(not literally but its a headache!). If this isn't fixed soon i wont be able to do a makeover soon until much later, for the more time wasted, the lesser the work done... i don't want my blogs to be under construction when my visitors come visiting.

Hope im done with this soon.. no wonder i was lazy to do a makeover for the last two years!

Motivational Story Of Friendship

Two girls were best of friends, since their childhood. When they were small kids, they used to go to school together, play together and sometimes even stay at each other's places. They were next door neighbors and thus their parents were friends as well. The best friends graduated from school and went to pursue higher studies in the same college. Everyone knew that the girls were the best of friends. Nothing was hidden between the duo, because both knew each other inside out.

After some days, one of the friends found the other behaving in a very strange manner. She would remain withdrawn, sleep too much and turn violent, very often. At first, the other friend thought it was just the studies getting on to her. However, with time, she became even more moody and frustrated. Finally, her friend couldn't take it any longer and confronted her with the problem. She broke down into tears and confessed that she was going around with a guy, who was taking drugs and forced her to take them too.

The girl was not only forced to take drugs, but was also forced to bring money every now and then and was threatened with dire consequences, if she revealed the matter to anyone, even her best friend. Shocked by her story, the other friend consoled her. She then thought of a way to help her. Finally, she thought that she would come up straight to the point and tell her to leave this guy and get out of all the mess. She contacted the college counselor, who was a psychologist and narrated all the problem to her. She offered to help and said that matter would be kept under wraps.

The girl was then advised by her friend to leave this guy, as he was torturing her unnecessarily. Her friend reminded her of her dreams of becoming a successful professional, inspired her to set an example for others and reminded of what her parents would feel, if they found out what their daughter was up to. After a lot of persuasion, the girl finally agreed to leave him. She was given basic counseling and was weaned off drugs, with time. All this while, her friend never left her side and always stood by her.

Finally, they graduated and the friendship only grew stronger. They both went on to become successful professionals, but never let each other down by indulging themselves into bad habits. They lived happily ever after, as close friends. The story leaves the reader to think about the depth of friendship shared by the two girls. The moral of the story is that true friends are those, who inspire you to become the best you can ever be. They have full confidence in you. They would not leave you until your goal is accomplished.

Imagine the impact on a blogger/publisher who isn't paid by a website claiming they're genuine when they're not! First flooding our emails with assignments(paid reviews, tasks) and then backing off when the time came to pay back, that's blogadvertisingstore.com for you. Its three years since i haven't received the payment i was supposed to be paid to my paypal account once i reached the threshold for the same. A few months passed with us trying to first contact them about the issue but i got suspicious due to no response from them, i realized i wasn't going to be paid! Later learnt by fellow bloggers it was happening with them as well. I tried once again emailing them BUT i was banned or my account was suspended ignoring even my pleas for payment i was deserving of. It was months of hard work when i was extremely dedicated to writing those paid reviews for the scam site, but little did i know of it until i wasn't paid and came across heaps of stories of not being paid on the Internet. I guess i wouldn't ever be paid because i didn't try to campaign against them thinking they would turn out reliable and pay me without having to campaign against them the way some of my fellow bloggers did and were also paid! But my patience and humbleness was all in vain as I'm still due to be paid almost more than $250!

Don't know if there is anyone left still writing for them because by now it must be known throughout the web how they have scammed us poor bloggers and raided us of our time and effort only to escape with our hard earned money (sigh).....

I wish i could parade them......... blah blah... :(

Well yesterday i celebrated my 12Th wedding anniversary.. "well many long years have flown by and without a clue how" i relied when i was asked by my cousin on Face book if i had any idea how 12 yeas had passed on so quickly ;)

Sometimes it seems i was married just last year and sometimes it seems a long long time ago, but 12 years isn't and wasn't enough to be married to the one i loved when i met him... it is after all eternal love, the promise of a lifetime :)

Marriage is not a bed of roses, who wouldn't agree... it has its highs and well as lows. Who can argue there is never a day you had a tear in your eye but of course the happiness you gained should always make up for those tearful days.

Celebrating my wedding anniversary today; married for 12 years now!

Happy Wedding Anniversary to me! been married for 12 years now! How shall i describe my journey... well i must say its a lifetime never ending journey but the ride till now was worth the decision i made years ago. It was a treat, though not like the icing on the cake nor the cake itself, but was a real treat! A roller coaster ride!

When you are married its uncertain where life could have you thrown in years but i've spend 12 years in a marriage as beautiful with roses and thorns. There has been endless thorns that could thwart me from moving another step in live but the roses itself were the strength and the motive... when life is a challenge itself.. marriage is just a part of our lives.... :)

Yahoo email frustration; lost the chance to enter into a contest!

I guess i'm not going to register or sign up on any site again using my yahoo email id! I'm still waiting for a confirmation email i was supposed to receive on my yahoo account. It's a site hosting a kids contest and i registered my 11 year old son, Aryan to participate. But it's only for Indians and though reliable, but they're only allowing a limited number of entries. Besides only one sign up per IP! Now that i haven't yet received the confirmation email how on earth am i going to enter further into the contest which is for kids of tender ages to create fun cartoons, faces, etc with colorful paints on food, and submit for voting. The winner would be selected through votes.

My son Aryan qualifies as a 11 year old and it would be a good opportunity to divert his mind from the games he loves to play but to which he is also getting addicted to. I thought since he is a creative little boy, there is a chance for him to win, plus his time spent on the contest would be worth his energy than the exhausting games he plays. But, i haven't yet received the yahoo email and frustration is getting into me because i would still run out of time for a second attempt to sign up from my sisters PC, considering the limited entries for registration. My sister might be in a deep sleep by now... and here it's a 'hurry or sign ups expire soon' situation i am stuck in! i cant even ask for a re-confirmation as im sure it still wouldn't arrive in my inbox. This has occurred a repeated amount of times but trusting yahoo emails service i signed up with my yahoo id, now what, regret! I should have used my Gmail id instead (sigh). Has Aryan lost the chance to enter? I'll have to wait and see... :(

Well, i've already waited for an hour to see if the mail would arrive at my yahoo address, even if in its own sweet time, but in vain. I think yahoo mail needs a real enhancement of its services instead of introducing a number of new and attractive features which are useless if the main service which is delivery and reception of emails hasn't yet bettered. In the attempt to lure new users they might lose their existing users to Gmail!

For me, a Gmail account is the winner even though they might not have been offering the new and many features the yahoo account does. But i don't care for features i care for my important mails more than anything else! Seems like i will have to divert all my imp emails to my Gmail account because, who knows, one day i might awake and find all my emails gone! Yahoo would say; we regret the inconvenience caused!!!!

Silent Love- A Silent Love Story

Silent Love

From the very beginning, the girl's family objected strongly about her dating this guy. Saying that it has got to do with family background and that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.

Because of the family's pressure, the couple quarrel very often. Though the girl love the guy deeply, but she always ask him: "How deep is your love for me?"

As the guy is not good with words, this often causes the girl to be very upset. With that and the family's pressure, the girl often vents her anger on him. As for him, he only endures it in silence.

After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated and decided to further his studies overseas.
Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: "I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?"

The girl agreed, and with the guy's determination, the family finally gave in and agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they got engaged.

The girl went out to work, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails and phone calls. Though it was hard, they never thought of giving up.

One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was run over by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. She has lost her voice ....

The doctor said that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down.

During the stay in hospital, besides silent cry, ..... it was still just silent cry that companied her. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone. Which pierced into her heart every time it rang. She does not wish to let the guy know. Not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer.

With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions and millions of replies, and countless of phone calls ... but all the girl could do was more crying ....

The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything and be happy.

With a new environment, the girl learned sign language and started a new life, telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy.
One day, her friend came and told her that he's back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn't anymore news of him.

A year has passed and her friend came with an envelope containing an invitation card for the guy's wedding. The girl was shattered.
When she opened the letter, she saw her name in it instead.

When she was about to ask her friend what's going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her. He used sign language telling her "I've spent a year's time to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You."
With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled.

Today i have decided to pay a tribute the Jazz and R&B singer Amy Winehouse who passed away aged 27, on 23rd July(not sure about the date). She was well known her confused looks and terrible dress up days. One of her bad days were of her walking the street in just a lingerie top and jeans. Viewing her pics, one can understand the singer was into drug abuse which is the culprit leading her to an early death. I loved her stylish looks and the beehive she wore for a hairdo, something that always seemed quite 'funny' to me but sure did make a fashion statement for her fans and designers.

She often wore a confused look and expressed a depressed pattern of behavior which attracted media apart from her success. Her song "You Know I'm No Good" gives an insight into her life with lyrics like " I cheated myself,
Like I knew I would, I told you I was trouble, You know that I'm no good....

Her powerful, soulful voice suited for the rock genre more but i wasn't so into listening to Amy Winehouse, reason why i didnt post her for MM before. Its sad her tragic death has proven how "anti-drugs, smoking, and alcohol kills'- so i just like to advice the world to be drug-free.

Amy was born to a Jewish family, her mom a pharmacist while her dad was a taxi driver and of course she would missed by fans and her celeb friends and associates no doubt, but most of all her parents would miss their daughter. Her "Rehab" and "Tears dry on their own" won her fame, but sad she has joined other young celebs who had died at 27, one of whom is Kurt Cobain.

She will always be missed for her soulful voice, her style, her confused behavior whatever else be it, she had a life which she lost, and though she is immortalized in the music she left behind, the world will surely miss her. Amy Winehouse- Born 14th September Died- 23rd July. May her soul RIP.

I have heard a lot about of Amsterdam, the capital of Holland from my friend who works as a travel agent. The city is famous for architecture, design and art and, where art is, there i am. I am so passionate about the subject that whatever i can lay my hands on; i capture it like a picture or a memory. Now back to where i was to enlighten you some more. I believe if you are a foodie, amsterdam restaurants will allow your taste buds to savor on Indonesian rice, or Dutch pancakes, which it is quite famous for. Food is cooked it's in its purest form prepared from organically obtained authenticated ingredients.

Its really shocking to know of the spit between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony! But then who isn't aware of such happenings in the film industry? Its a wee bit non problematic issue that keeps cropping up for the celebrities that there isn't anymore interest in who is marring or who is about to, or already divorced. Well, and did you really think that? never will they be non wagging tongues where celebs are concerned, be it their link up's, make up's or break ups!

J.Lo and Marc Anthony tied the knot on June 5th, 2004 and there wasn't ever a slight bit of idea there was something cold brewing between them, no not coffee, if your mind did wander just now into a Sizzling Jennifer and Hottie Marc sipping a coffee on a cold winter morning. Well something that cold which lead them to a divorce! They did look the lead pair of the american idol finale's hottest couple but what happened two months later? A divorce.. a steamy one, not steamier than the performance during the show, though.

I need a blog makeover soon, before my wedding anniversary on 31st July.. lets see

I made up my mind to change my layout soon and it’s a promise to me. It’s important i attract more traffic than chasing them away. It’s important i give my baby a makeover ASAP, because am aware the content is not readable and the colors are too deep. Maybe my readers are polite enough not to mention but i am thoughtful about them. I need them to keep visiting back and never want to lose my readers for it their visits that my blog is ranked and successful (whatever bit ;)). So why should i give them a hard time while they're here. Its home to me, and those who visit my home should have a pleasant smile while leaving, a content smile that would keep them returning and wanting more from me.

The code editing part of changing the layout is what makes me hesitant to make a move at it, but i've given it a final thought... I Will .This would be a gift to myself too by the 31st of July which is also my wedding anniversary! I'll go to that part of my life later but for now let me concentrate on a new and beautiful layout, a makeover for this blog. I’ll have to browse though some sites, find graphics or maybe some ready made blogger layouts. If i don't find anything suitable to my taste and choice i will create a layout on my Photoshop like i did with this one! Not a bad idea, but if only time permits and i don't mess up with the codes.

There is no doubt, loads of pending work and i don't know how I’ll find the time but determination is the word for today, and for always. So, i will have to find time and complete the makeover before 31st. I don't even want my site to be under construction! So i must be quick. I must, i must, i must, i will, i will, i will.. Lol.. I just need suggestions where to get a premium but affordable layout, if anyone knows to save time, or i'll have to create one myself. Let’s see... :)

The day i wore the pearl ring- for the records

It was the 18th(few days ago), i was so awaiting the right time to put the pearl ring i had got made by a jeweler to ensure calmness of my mind. AS i already mentioned in a post last month how much i'm into astrology and gems, i was so convinced everything would be all right once i wear the priceless ring. Got the pearl from a far away city while i was holidaying and paid a great price for it.

But right now am really annoyed at the jeweler as the ring is a bit tight! but i wont refrain from wearing it once i put it on as it has healed a big part of me already. Lets see when i'm able to get it loosened to fit my finger! For now i've squeezed it into the little finger which of course is a but painful but no harm. It looks good.. LOL..

Delay of task approval, why!? no idea

Seems like our advertises are busy elsewhere because lately there is a big delay for task approval. There used to be an approval of tasks for certain sites immediately after completion and submission but now we have to wait for days.

Loudlauch, the 2nd best paid to review website though consistant in assinging tasks to its publichers, has been delaying our task approvals, but am not complaining, coz the flow of tasks are pretty much evident of how busy there are! ;)

I'm surprised, Blogitive too still seems to be having problems with their hosting and the loss of data as they claimed on their site weeks ago, and there are lined up tasks yet to be approved. There are no tasks coming in too but i hope soon :)

Now all i can do it wait until the approvals and from then on, count the days till i'll be paid.

But some such sites which pay on time are blogsvertise, and socialspark through the flow of tasks from SS seeing to be dyeing down while blogsvertise is consistent with assigning bloggers tasks. There is hardly any luck with socialspark anymore after SocialSpark v2.0 was created... But the opportunies to earn online are endless from new and better sites being launched! Another Google page rank update within a few days

Strange how my google page rank for my Pregnancy Blog changed back from pr1 to pr2 within just a few days of its drop from pr2 to pr1!!! I was shocked to see some tasks from a certain paid to review site assigned to me which i wasn't qualified for earlier because of the drop. I was in a confused state, but when i checked, it was back to its earlier Google page rank! The last update was around June 28th or 29th. So was this update necessary, and how and why so soon? I wonder how many other bloggers have experienced this? Do let me know... i feel there is some special force working for me where my luck is concerned, LOl.. cant help but feel that way with the tasks and paid reviews pouring in.

But i guess regarding the urgent pr update, there must have been some changes to our robot.text.file or some codes which we are oblivious to, and the previous update was just a reflection. Maybe its an algorithm experiment from Google which failed. Maybe Google didn't meant to penalize my pregnancy and parenting blog in the first place and so its back to its earlier pr. I'm sure most of you have also experienced this..with the curiosity that i'm going through, i need some more enlightenment soon! :)

Whatever it is, i will do some research before updating this post again :)

Blogging- past and present

The present-
Today, we get to see a vast number of bloggers blogging their way into the world of popularity and fame. Once a blogger has carved a name for themselves in the blogosphere there is no turning back! I'm not talking about big and famous blogs like problogger, techcrunch, etc.. You could be the author of a parenting blog, a technology blog, a celebrity blog, or a blog on no matter what subject, but once your blogs gain fame and popularity within your circle, you are all set into a professional popularization. The more unique and useful the content, the more popularity you gain. That's what I've noticed... So if you want to know how, read this post i had written earlier about How to start blogging... all the tips, etc...

These days its more for earning online than anything else. Because paid reviews and selling link space seems to be one of the best methods for making money online i find people swarming into the blog world just to earn some extra moolah(money). Though the internet had opened umpteen doors to earn online, blogging remains the most easier, and way too addictive. Unlike before when blogging was only meant to help connect with oneself or the world through blogging or simply a pass-time, these days its entirely a money making focus by newbie bloggers! You wont find that purity, that zest for genuine blogging anymore unless its an experienced blogger who knows the do's and dont's of blogging. I would like to advice newbies that paid reviews should be done in a way that search engine rankings shouldn't be effected. Its very imp to focus on unique content rather than just keep posting reviews. They say, two/three personal posts in between a paid post. Personal content should 70% more than paid content. The the Google Pr is also important, so you don't want to lose it by allowing Google to penalize you for only paid content on your blog. Paid content doesn't bode well with Google! Though a lot of bloggers may claim it makes no difference but i beg to differ ;) A post i wrote earlier in the week about the recent Google page rank update.

It was those days i can never forget when blogging used to be about ones thoughts, experiences and personal life, even for me. Nowadays, its different for everyone including me! The intention remains to keep blogging for both, my personal self and to make use of golden opportunities. But why not, because who wouldn't love to be paid for the things their write... ?

The past- how it began

Alisha's version of the monkey and crocpdile story!

I couldn't help but get into the mood of story telling to get Alisha, my 4 year old daughter to sleep earlier than her usual time so that she awakes and readies for school without feeling sleepy. The funny and amazing thing is how she created a different ending out of mine and though i laughed at her version but believe me, i was left zapped at how kids can make up stories!!! If you already know the story about the monkey and the crocodile (mine, is a different short story ;)), jump to her version which is right below ;)

My story goes like this 'once there a monkey who wanted to cross the river to his home on a tree on an island, so he told to his friend the crocodile "will you help me across the river dear friend, croc"

The crocodile said "yes my friend, just get on my back i shall swim you across"

On the way, when they had reached the deep in the middle of the river the croc spoke, "Well, Mr Monkey, my wife is very sick and needs your heart to eat or she will die. I will only continue our journey only if you give me your heart in return"

The monkey replied after a second of thinking "well my friend, you see, i have my heart hung on the tree which i left to dry after washing. I will give it to you once i reach my tree top house" to which the crocodile agree and continued swimming.

Once they reached the island the clever monkey jumped out of the crocs back and climbed the tree as fast as he could. When he reached the top, he told the waiting croc "hahaha, im sorry but my dear friend i had to lie to save my life for if i had told you my heart was with me inside my chest, you would have killed me!" The croc realized its stupidity and left the river to a far away one never to be seen again. LOL that was my story for her...

After i was done i asked her to tell me a story but she had something else in her mind, told me 'No, when they reached the top the monkey climbed up and told the croc "hahaha, i don’t have my heart on the tree, my heart is inside me, but you would kill me if i told you the truth" '

'So the croc jumped/climbed the tree and bit and beat the monkey and took out a knife and cut out the monkeys heart and ate it up, then went to his wife and gave the heart to this wife and the wife also ate the heart and the monkey died'

But of course, in her 4 year old language and in a mixture of English/Hindi! hahaha... And i was wondering how many hearts the monkey actually had, two? Television influence it seems! Anything is possible in the mind of a kid... :)

Next what i'm going to see is read her stories online, on the internet and with pictures it's going to be fun... ;)
