The birth of a baby is always an exciting and exhausting time. There is a lot of preparation involved in many ways – from the mother preparing physically and mentally, to the practical side of things, such as ensuring any adjustments are made in the house before baby comes home for the first time.

One of the key things on your to do list if you are expecting a baby is to create a nursery for them to sleep in. This is best done some time before the birth rather than at the last minute, especially if the baby decides to arrive early. You don’t want to be halfway through painting a wall when it’s time to go to the hospital.

Of course it’s not always easy to choose a colour scheme, especially if you don’t know what sex the baby is going to be. If you cannot or do not want to find out beforehand however, there is another alternative: you can choose a more neutral colour for the walls, and then buy accessories in either pink or blue, if desired, once the baby is born.

If budget is a concern, the cheapest way to decorate is by painting the walls rather than wallpapering them. If they are particularly uneven you can sand them down before painting. If you opt for this solution, make sure the work is done well in advance of baby’s arrival, and ensure the room is well ventilated during and after the sanding. Alternatively you could buy lining paper and paint directly onto that, while plain walls can easily be spruced up by using a nursery border. You can then match your accessories to this.

Of course decorating isn’t the only thing you need to think about. Buying essentials to finish the room off is equally important. Baby bedding is available in many designs and colours, so you should be able to find the perfect selection to match the colour scheme you have chosen. If you buy a complete set of matching bedding you will often find you can also buy matching accessories such as lampshades and even soft toys to complete the look of the room.

If you would like a particular set of blue or pink bedding and you don’t know the sex of your baby, the best thing to do is to decide which set you would like and ask a friend or relative if they would go out and buy the appropriate set when the time comes. That way you don’t have to worry about rushing out to buy bedding when the new arrival comes home.

Decorating a nursery can seem like a major job, but with proper thought and planning it doesn’t have to be very difficult. Before you know it you’ll be welcoming your new baby into their freshly decorated nursery.

For most new website publishers, the thought of monetizing a website that is already up and running is very enticing. Google Adsense gives even the most inexperienced internet marketers the chance to make serious money, while enhancing the user experience by providing links to related products, services, and information. For both new and old Adsense publishers, there are several tactics that can be used to increase profit.

The most important factor when trying to make money with Adsense is click-through-rate, or CTR. As your Google Adsense click-through-rate increases, you will generate more revenue, given you are paid for each click on your Adsense ad blocks. To increase click-through-rate, you can use the following ideas to more properly integrate the Adsense ad blocks into your website's pages.

- When creating your Adsense color palette, you are able to modify the colors to fit your website's color scheme. By making the background and border colors the same as your website's background color, making links the same color as the links on your website, and making the text color within your adsense blocks the same as the text color of the rest of your website, your Adsense ads will appear to be part of your content, as opposed to being seen by your users as unrelated advertisements.

- Position your Adsense blocks to be shown on prominent parts of each page. You may use up to three ad blocks, which makes it much more possible to make money with Adsense, especially if each ad is shown above the fold of your website. It is recommended to place some ads within content portions of the page, and others where users are accustomed to seeing navigation links. Remember, clicks are most important here, so make them as easy as possible for your users to get to!

Beyond the improvements that can be made by tweaking your website's design, there are also improvements that can be made to your website's content, which will help increase how much money you make with Google Adsense. For example, by keeping your website's content targeted at one specific topic, the Adsense ads that are shown on your pages will be much more highly targeted, and as a result, more likely to interest your visitors. As you could imagine, the more interested a user is in the topics shown within an Adsense block, the more likely they are to click, and make you money.

Some site owners fail to recognize how their content could be optimized for specific keywords. If your website's content is about the legal services, for example, you will make more money per click than a site whose content is about a less sought after keyword group. By getting suggestions through

Overture or the Adwords keyword suggestion tools, you will be able to see what specific keywords could pay, and also how altering your site's content could affect your website's revenue.

Britney was the sister who continued being in the headlines for her snobbish attitude.. her break up with Kevin, losing custody of her kids, her link ups.. but now its Jamie, Britney's younger sis who has made headlines.. the younger sibling earned column inches of her own when she confirmed she is expecting her first child by long-term boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

Jamie is about three months pregnant."It was a shock for both of us. So unexpected" says the star of American high school TV show Zoey 101, finishing its third season next month as one of Nickelodeon's highest-rated shows.

The couple apparently waited a few weeks before breaking the news to her parents "I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let any one's opinion affect my decision" says the new mother.A wise decision Jamie...

I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious" speaks her mother, Lynne Spears. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

Now what makes me suspect(note the word) that Jamie will be the wiser sister... i guess turning a mother at 16 should do the needful... why don't all celebs turn moms so early! :)

After 'Celebrity Big Brother', Shilpa Shetty caught the imagination of the British public once again this week, when she stuck a chord with them through the grand finale of her musical 'Miss Bollywood' in London.

Having toured a total of 16 European cities across Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and UK in the last two-and-a-half months, Shilpa returned to London to perform the final act at the Royal Albert Hall.

The dusky beauty mesmerized the English audience with a scintillating performance, while the audiences cheered her repeatedly. "The success of the grand finale at the hallowed Royal Albert Hall is indeed an emotional and historic moment for Shilpa," said her publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

The musical is set against the backdrop of London as the city prepares for the 2012 Olympics. It follows the story of 'Maya' (performed by Shilpa Shetty), a classically trained dancer and choreographer, who arrives from India to set up a dance academy in a soon-to-be-demolished East London building. Maya soon finds herself thrust into the limelight, where she must either sink or swim. Her trials and tribulations include the unwanted attentions of a famous but predatory choreographer.

'Miss Bollywood' combines traditional Indian music with riveting dance sequences that could be entered in the Olympics themselves. It showcases an amalgamation of dance forms taken from the east and west of India, with Shilpa re-capturing on stage some of Bollywood's greatest hits over the past 40 years.

So all you fans out there, watch out for shilpa's forth coming musical 'miss bollywood'.. and dont forget to comment.

Christmas is one of the biggest celebrations for the people belonging to the Christian faith. But it would be wrong to assume that it is only celebrated among the Christians. With the world becoming a global village, Christmas is now celebrated in many countries around the world. Caroling, feasting, and gift-giving along with the prayers and wishes... Christmas is celebrated with high spirits in various parts of the world. Though the mode of celebration, the dates and the traditions vary, the spirit remains the same everywhere. But what is the message behind its traditions and the religious meaning? come let me explain it here so that its celebrated in its true spirit this year.. And not just as a holiday!

THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST
Christmas is the annual holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ on the 25th of dec and there is a very interesting story about the birth of Jesus.click here for whole story

CELEBRATIONS DURING THE HOLIDAY AND ON CHRISTMAS
The magic of the holidays is contagious! Neighborhoods are alive with twinkling lights, the scent of gingerbread cookies perfume the air. From November onwards, it is impossible to forget that Christmas is coming. Colored lights decorate many town centers and shops, along with shiny decorations, and artificial snow painted on shop windows.

By mid-December, most homes will also be decorated with Christmas trees, colored lights and paper or plastic decorations around the rooms. These days, many more people also decorate garden trees or house walls with colored electric lights.

In many countries, most people post Christmas greeting cards to their friends and family, and these cards will be hung on the walls of their homes.Wherever you go you'll hear the sound of carols, jingling bells and laughter in the air. And you can't help but whistle a carol yourself and join in the laughter - it's Christmas and you couldn't be happier!

CHRISTMAS DAY
On eve of 24Th people attend the midnight mass in church. In the morning people visit each others homes and exchange greetings, after attending the morning mass.Families celebrate the rest of the day in a joyous mood relishing Christmas cakes, cookies, puddings and special meals prepared for the day.The Christmas cake and cookies are offered to guests who visit during the day.

TRADITIONS OF CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS FRUIT CAKE
Christmas cake is an English tradition that began as plum porridge. People ate the porridge on Christmas Eve, using it to line their stomachs after a day of fasting. gradually they began to add dried fruit, spices and honey were added to the porridge mixture, and eventually it turned into Christmas pudding. These days it is baked into any form and kept for relishing it with guests that come over.

CHRISTMAS TREE
A Christmas tree,is one of the most popular traditions associated with the celebration of Christmas. It is normally an evergreen coniferous tree that is brought into a home or used in the open, and is decorated with Christmas lights and colourful ornaments during the days around Christmas. An angel or star is often placed at the top of the tree, representing the host of angels or the Star of Bethlehem from the Nativity story.

SANTA CLAUS
Father Christmas(Santa Claus) has become the human face of Christmas. Pictures will be seen everywhere of the old man with long white beard, red coat, and bag of toys. Children are taught that he brings them presents the night before Christmas and many children up to the age of 7 or 8 really believe this is true.It is said that he arrives through the sky on a sledge (snow-cart) pulled by reindeer. He comes into houses down the chimney at midnight and places presents for the children in socks or bags by their beds or in front of the family Christmas tree.

In shops or at children's parties, someone will dress up as Father Christmas and give small presents to children, or ask them what gifts they want for Christmas. Christmas can be a time of magic and excitement for children and for the last seven years without fail i've always put a gift with all sorts of chocolates, toys etc for my son Aryan, hes seven years now:)

Who was he?
Father Christmas is based on a real person, St. Nicholas. He was a Christian leader from Myra (in modern-day Turkey) in the 4Th century AD. He was very shy, and wanted to give money to poor people without them knowing about it.It is said that one day, he climbed the roof of a house and dropped a purse of money down the chimney. It landed in the stocking which a girl had put to dry by the fire! This may explain the belief that Father Christmas comes down the chimney and places gifts in children's stockings!

So here's to a Christmas that's merry and bright for all! Happy reading and happy holidays to you! please dont forget to comment about Christmas and you!
