Discover Cindy Crawford's secret to younger looking skin!

From red carpet events and pop star reunions to finalized divorces and visits to rehab, it's been quite a hectic year in Tinseltown.Heres some of the fabulous looks and fashion faux pas.. you decide who was your style icon and who was not!

1.Katherine Heigl,Glowing at the 2007 Emmys in this Zac Posen gown.
2.Britney Spears, an attempted comeback flopping at the MTV Video Music Awards, Britney's continued to keep the paparazzi employed with her frequent crotch shots and by hitting the town in tasteless clothing.
3.Reese Witherspoon ruled the red carpet in 2007. sleek and sexy in this strapless, tiered Nina Ricci gown, Reese defines glamour.

She's still our favorite diva, but Beyonce's style seemed a bit off key in 2007. The outfit is not even flattering to B's curvaceous frame.

Helen Mirren dazzled the crowd at this year's Academy Awards in a floral Christian Lacroix gown. It's been quite a successful year for her, and she's never looked so glamorous.

The adorably sexy George Clooney makes looking good seem easy and his style never seems to fail.

1.Despite her single topping the charts, it was a rough year for Amy Winehouse. She always finished off her look with nothing less than this infamous beehive.
2.Heidi Klum at the 2007 Emmys, she dazzled in this strapless Dior gown.
3.Victoria Beckham at the MTV Movie Awards and She bought out the wild side in her.

Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp's style bombed in fashion headquarters.Although he still exudes sex appeal with ease, has the actor's style sense been lost at sea?

So we're flashing on every news channel! But whats all the hype about? well its Bird flu this time in Calcutta, from where i belong.. and not a good time for all the calcuttans who are compelled to quit consuming poultry(sigh).. imagine chicken and eggs being excluded from our meals! how cruel is this, just like some curfew, like everything has gone haywire! i cant think of any alternative to replace the taste of poultry and eggs, i cant feed that to baby Alisha who doesn't seem to be interested in any food except eggs! when will the chickens be back safely?

Few days ago West Bengal birds were found to be carrying the H5N1 virus which can cause avian influenza in humans.. WB had appealed to all other states to help cull up chickens suspected of having the disease.19 districts were supposed have been affected, with a population of 24 million.. phew!

Nepal is said have banned poultry imports from India.. Bangladesh fears an outbreak too.

So what is bird flu?
Avian influenza is an infectious disease of birds caused by type A strains of the influenza virus. All birds are thought to be susceptible to the avian influenza, though some species, such as wild ducks, are more resistant than others. Domestic poultry, such as chickens or turkeys, are particularly susceptible.

How does it effect people?
Avian influenza does not normally infect species other than birds and pigs. But humans came down with the bird flu in Hong Kong in 1997, when the H5N1 strain infecting 18 humans, 6 of whom died.

Genetic studies showed the virus jumped directly from birds to humans, and caused severe illness with high mortality.

What are the symptoms, can it be tested and how do you treat it?
When humans came down with H5N1 bird flu in Hong Kong in 1997, patients developed symptoms of fever, sore throat, cough and, in several of the fatal cases, severe respiratory distress secondary to viral pneumo

Antiviral drugs, some of which can be used for both treatment and prevention, are clinically effective against influenza A virus strains in otherwise healthy adults and children, but have some limitations

I just want people to be cautious, as prevention is better than cure.. dont you agree?

Salman khan... one of the most searched bollywood actor on the Internet has recently been in London to unveil a statue at Madame Tussuad's, amidst thousands of adoring fans. The statue being none other than his own! imagine the joy, when he got to stand beside his own body double.Salman was in all praise of the statue and being a painter himself, wholeheartedly appreciated the effort that was put into the making...

"I have just started painting and I know how difficult it is to get something so perfect. The talent, the patience, the hard work which has gone into this sculpture, is phenomenal" said the bollywood hunk.

He had out beaten bollywood mega stars like Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik Roshan, Lata Mangeshkar and Abhishek Bachchan, after a public poll conducted last summer.

"I am really very touched that my fans have chosen me to appear in Madame Tussuad's, and hope that the figure brings a lot of enjoyment to Bollywood followers the world over" Salman said.

Salmans muscular statue, dressed in a black sleeveless T-shirt and black denims, donated by the star, stands alongside bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan in special section meant only for bollywood. It feels so good to hear he has finally attained his place in the top four, beating other bollywood biggies.

The heartthrob actor was measured and photographed by expert sculptors in Mumbai last October to kick-start painstaking work on his wax double. He personally chose and donated clothes for the figure to wear.

Salman, started his film career way back in 1998 and has over 55 films to his credit till date.of late his career may of taken a few bitter twists but thank god hes no more pulled into controversies and hes still our very own Sallu with his latest release being partner... and hope from now on, hell be as popular, in the west too!

A boy meets a girl and desperately wants to ask her out on a date.. he has known her for two long months now and its high time he pulls up his socks and gets to know her feelings too.But he hasn't a least bit of idea of HOW! how should he go about things.

Alot of people have been in situations like this.Wanting to ask out someone special but just don't know how.. sometimes they know the person, sometimes they haven't even seen them! So here's a bit of advice for those who want to ask anyone out on a date!

1)Rid yourself of the fear of rejection. If you fear that you will be rejected by the person you ask out for a date, how will you get through the main base? so just go on and do it! ask that someone special out.. if yes is their answer, your on cloud 9! If no, don't bother.See it as they have lost a opportunity of happiness with you so they really are the one you should feel bad for.If one rejects you, it doesn't mean the next person will! Pick your head up and move on, your date will come true by someone who deserves you!

2)After approaching someone for a date, be specific when asking that person out for a date. For example, you could ask the person the following question: I’m interested in seeing a play at our local theater on either a Wednesday or Thursday would you be interested in attending? This question is able to provide the opportunity for your date to have options on deciding if they want to go on the date with you and if so, they can choose the day they want to go on the date and other options such as meeting you at the theater, etc... always opt for a quiet place where the two of you will get some time to talk.

5)Always have an alternative date and time or location in mind should the person be unsure of their dairy.Giving a person a choice is often pleasing for them.

4)Try asking the person when they are alone and not with their friends, etc. That could create an uncomfortable atmosphere while being around with friends.

3)Asking someone out in person is the best way out.You can get the opportunity to see the person you're about to date face to face. You can also observe their facial expressions and body language!

4) Try to avoid the use alcohol to boost your courage levels as this will often backfire.Nobody would like a stuttering tongue.

With these useful tips in mind, am sure your first dates going to be a success.Be yourself, enjoy the time you have together, and learn from the experience.
