Just two hours to go.. and bang! we're in the new year.. i feel i'll be leaving so much behind, so many moments of joy and sorrows which had continuously changed our lives in multiple ways throughout the year.. but though it feels like we are going away, somewhere so far way from something we've lived with.. its actually just a jump we're taking into a year full of new hopes, and eagerness to improve on so much.. i feel its a great way to motivate oneself.. :-)

In the coming year i plan to stay focused and be realistic on matters most close to my heart and work instead of living in a realm of fantasies all the time.. what do you plan to do? tell me next year! :-)

Wishing all my readers 'A very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2010, in my last post of the year :-)

I selected this video for this weeks MM, as we all know this is J. lo's version which was released in 1999 few days before the millennium new year. It also reminds me so much of my years as a newly married and being pregnant!.. so i guess i was enjoying every bit of the times as well as the song. Every new years is much anticipated and so is this year which is to come in just 3 more days! how fast the years pass by, isn't it? The last month of the year gives us the chance to contemplate our year gone by and make an attempt improve in the coming year.. so lets all make a resolution never to be broken. I haven't decided mine but would surely like to know yours??

Hope you enjoy the video while you think of a resolution.. happy MM :-)

Can you believe its Christmas once again! the time of the year when PEACE, LOVE, WARMTH and JOY fill the air and celebrations go on merrily throughout the world. Writing this before retiring to bed as i have lots of activities once i awake. Aryan and Alisha's gift from Santa Claus is hidden away (hope he doesn't read this, my clever and curious son!) and will be kept under their pillows before they awake. Am so excited that this year Alisha (3 yrs) is able to understand a little about Christmas and knows Santa Claus very well and i cant wait to watch her excitement when she opens her gifts! We will obviously have a family day tomorrow and lots to feast :-)

Here's wishing all my readers lots of peace, love, warmth and joy on this day and throughout the year.. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :-)

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever wondered if there was really a site from which you could change your views on online auctions? Because i understand there are chances you gain nothing from most auction sites but Bidazzled values your time and effort, so you have nothing to lose while bidding with them. If you lose, you still gain bonus bids and a chance to purchase an item for less than the investment you had in the auction. Besides, when you know you are bidding for a cause to help fund a lung cancer charity also created by Bidazzled, it gives a different feeling altogether.

This is how is works. You purchase bids at the cost of $1 in advance which is used to to bid on merchandise. The price increases a few cents with each bid placed and a few seconds are added to the countdown clock to give others a chance to bid. The auction ends when no other bids are placed. So if a new laptop ends at just a dollar, then you win the laptop for a dollar!

You would also be much excited to know that there is a referral program where you can earn bonus bids when you refer someone and also earn from your referral's referral, up to five levels! Now that you got some work to do, go about it now!

Back to the 80's.. oh i love this song by Wham and every time i watch the video i begin to feel so nostalgic.. missing younger days. This song just steals your heart with its bittersweet and meaningful lyrics and video, depicting an ex-couples loves story as they reminiscence the past in a few scenes...

Christmas is just few days ahead and preparations are going on in full swing and maybe could get better with each year, yet the memories of childhood never seem to fade. Don't you miss when Santa secretly left gifts under your pillow? Wish all my friends and readers an enthusiastic holiday season, and lots of merry making for the coming festival of Christmas, followed by a wonderful New year(which is too early i know).. but the spirit of Christmas and the year ending are everywhere, surrounding the earth and in the air :-)

Enjoy the Video.. its an evergreen. Happy MM folks :-)

I'm slipping into the rhythm of the 2000 music genre. Always being a lover of music, esp of the 90's(was a teen then) and 80's(even younger) hits, i was too involved with family life and Bollywood music to listen to now a days music. Anyways Google helped me search through the greatest and best songs of the last 8 years and bleeding love sung by Leona Lewis which am sure is already loved by everyone makes it way into this weeks MM post.. What i love most is the lyrics :-)

Enjoy the video but don't cry.. Happy MM :-)

Today Social-spark.com(a paid to review site) scared the living daylights out of me!! I logged in to my yahoo inbox to find this mail stating that they've sent back my reviewed post for correction and resubmission because unfortunately my blog was providing them with Trojan errors. I tried viewing my blog, and it seemed to be loading fine until the whole site opens but suddenly slips away into a blank page.

I also noticed blogsadvertiningstore.com previously known as payingpost.com flashing in the status bar below before it blanked out, so quite obviously i doubted them first more than any other widget or code or virus's. But even then, i was worried as i had not even tweaked my templates in two months so i was like almost devastated as this blogs helps to make money online in multiple ways and here i was in a stew knowing my blog has been targeted with malicious codes. Giving Payingpost.com the benefit of doubt, i moved on to the Google webmaster central to see if my blogs really had any other malware content but was tested clean.

I was cracking my brains and removed some youtube videos from my MusicMonday posts in a hurry and even began removing images. Nothing doing, my blog was still the same. I couldn't even view my elements as that page blanked out too. This is when i would have had this nervous breakdown! But guess what, i started searching for wyciwyg://290 which appeared before my blogs URL when i hit 'backward'. Some sites were talking about our Mozilla cache, protocol etc.. I landed on the Google forums where these bloggers were already discussing this issue and they pointed out 'PAYINGPOST.COM' so without wasting any time my next step was to remove the codes from the section before the closed 'head' in my HTML.

Now the thing is whether or not you have or had the paying post code in your templates html, your blog could still be a target to this error or virus or whatever but you will find the solutions, am sure. As they say with prayers and fingers crossed nothing can go undone or unsolved.. Praise be to god am still safe with Google Adsense too :-)

Back this Monday with Halo sung by Beyonce Knowles. This song won at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards for 'best song' and was nominated for 'best female pop vocal performance' and 'album of the year', at the 52nd Grammy Awards 2009. A lovely emotional love track with amazing vocals, modish beats, a simple piano melody and Beyonce's performance. Takes you deep into the world of the person who has bought light into your life.. "Everywhere I'm looking now, I'm surrounded by your embrace, baby I can see your halo, you know you're my saving grace.. I fell it love with it as i heard it and even posted it on my celeb blog. Enjoy the video.. Happy MM and a wonderful week ahead :-)

I deleted the video i just posted as 'viewing is restricted' and all the other originals cant be embedded! I was able to watch the video few weeks ago when i posted to my celeb blog but now its restricted to my country! But you can watch her sing live and as she seems teary, I had tears too in my eyes watching her, but that was a great performance from her on stage. :-)

We all know that educational centers have their own criteria and methods of teaching but here i bring you a new challenge approach towards teaching and learning, for the betterment of teachers, parents and students. It is called as Words in Color which is an approach to learning to read, write and spell. The approach focuses, first, on people and their natural capacities to learn, and then on the subject matter. Have you heard about it? It's a whole new view to education and literacy. This type of approach has already been used in several educational center's like schools, home schools etc. It was conceived of technical understanding and doesn't hide difficulties in English, but triggers natural capabilities that enable learning. In short, just a part of a skill that masters the skill of reading which includes Phonological awareness, Decoding, Fluency, Comprehension, and Vocabulary.

The company is passionate about moving towards creating awareness of education to eliminate illiteracy and they are motivated to bring reality out of this approach.

Take a look at the overview-
The English alphabet has 26 letters, yet we use more than 26 sounds in our speech. In fact, American-English speakers use 59 sounds, and there are often many ways to spell the same sound – sometimes dozens of ways. This is very confusing for beginning readers because letters only show how a word is spelled, not how it is spoken. We have identified all 400+ sound-spellings in American English and organized them into 59 distinctly colored groups. With color, students can see how a word is spoken, and more quickly become aware of the nature of the written language.

One can purchase this product from the stores online and make literacy a dream come true throughout the nations. You could also gift out this product this Christmas and show someone that you care. You can stay motivated and be a part of this movement to create aware of the effectiveness of this approach. Isn't it the best thing you can do to improve education in the universe? The best gift during Christmas am sure :-)

We are 22 days to go since Christmas and its no more early to talk about it. This Christmas it going to be even merrier as things happen to improve at home with more opps(paid reviews) than last year when the recession hit us... lol.. its another thing i wasn't paid by some company's which of course i'll have to forget about the money from them coz i feel they have cheated us bloggers of our time and honesty. I know most bloggers have become aware of this and i do feel sad for them. With Christmas nearing doesn't mean am going to forgive and forget, no, we are definitely going to do something but let Christmas pass off in the right spirit.

These little disappointments wont let the spirit of Christmas out of my heart for i will still celebrate merrily with wine and cake... and rose cookies and other delicious feasts as we all gather together(our family) to enjoy Christmas!

My Alisha will be in her senses this year, i mean she'll be able to understand what is Christmas better than last year and will be so excited when we go shopping. She'll want all the pretty frocks in the malls and mamma and papa will turn bankrupt! he he..

See you all for now.. let me know your Christmas plans :-)

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you ever think how nice it would be to have an internet speed that wouldn't fail your important downloads? I wished it, and then i find out its already being used in Saint Louis, also presently granted in Southern California and is rolling into the northeast! Now i wish i could get hold of this charter ultra fast 60MB bandwidth which i feel would rid me off these multiple page-load error frustrations at home. We at home are hardcore gamers and especially when these internet games take hours to download, i find myself wanting to tear my hair off. My son and brother live off these high speeds games so then again we find ourselves almost fighting to take over the PC. Its also really mind boggling when each of us haven't event completed what we started out, having to give up the PC to the next family member. Facebook apps take time to load too so honestly speaking higher speed internet would help me multitask better when it comes to games and blogging.

Higher speeds are also possible with the phatbound technology, moreover charter is looking to cover majority of the charter footprint by the end of 2010. Imagine the benefits of multitasking with Cable IT replacing DSL completely. It would be like experiencing internet like never before, minus frustrations and adding excitement and contentment during work and play.. :-)

I just love this video of Janet Jackson which is a another favorite hit of the 90's! Don't blame me for being a 90's person.. lol.. was in my teens and schooling then..

In this video Janet takes us flying to different places across the globe and i just cant help but admire her facial expressions and the way she dances, esp on the plane. The choreography and movements are so smooth and shes beautifully dressed. Looks more Indian from what i observed, and even the three other dancers seem to be wearing Indian/afrian costumes. There is also an African/Indian feel to the music which is blended with hop hop beats.

Anyway, watching the video and remembering the good old days, makes me want to jump out of my window and enjoy exploring the colorful world like in the video. She really enjoys visiting Africa, china, Paris, India and other countries .. wow.. awesome video shot back then.. and we don't get to see the world connected through music so much these days! Its only loud Jazz, rap and hip hop! I've always loved meaningful music and the Jackson family gave us that.. :-)

Happy MM :-)

Today, i've blushed purplish red after quite some time and i give the entire credit to Pradeep, the successful author of Hellboundbloggers.com. This tech blogger and engineering student knows how to balance between his blogging and being one of the friendliest bloggers in the blogosphere. He shares great posts from blogging tips and hacks to tutorials and reviews, and lots of other tech stuff. If people should need any info, they could look forward to a friendly smiling Pradeep who is always willing to help out with his beneficial tips, along with his influential thoughts..

Pradeep has written a special post about the female commenters of his blog and its really so sweet of him to appreciate their time and support in an manner most cherishable. This reminds me of the posts i used to write at 'special blogger friends' which is above in the nav bar where i would write special posts about my blog friends, thanking them and appreciating their support and love. Its a long time i haven't written, not even posted the awards as i've been quite acting clumsily on this blog, neglecting it a bit now and then. Not even writing about Alisha! missed out her birthday and posting her pics.. :(..

Anyway, this post Femle commenters who had commented on hellbound bloggers, has touched me so deeply and will help to boost up my blogging because facebook and family takes up all my time. Pradeep thinks am the coolest mom, and i guess coz i love sharing light moments while interacting with my buddies and since he has deemed my blog as one of his favorite, i must, must, pep up and give back to my appreciative readers what they truly deserve. :-)

I wish him all the very best in life and may he tough unseen heights in blogging and every possible way, and this comes from the core of my heart for this buddy of mine :-)

It's my all time favorite singers week again, and you may have guessed it right, its 'Celine Dion' with 'Because you loved me' being featured here today. Celine has in many ways created a great impact on me through her music. Her love and motherly songs, both have touched me to the core.

This song has beautiful lyrics and is a great dedication when it comes to being thankful in love. Couldn't find a single original video i could embed here. Probably the original can be viewed on you tube itself.. happy MM folks :-)

Taj Hotel, before the attack

The day terror struck Mumbai, 26/11/08, the rest of India was horrified to watch the dramatic firing and blazing fire scenes on Television. The struggle to douse out the raging fire inside Taj Hotel(not Taj Mahal) and destroy the hardcore, highly trained, and motivated guerrillas who had intruded into India from 'Pak' continued for hours and hours by our National Security Guard commando's, and terrified India watched angrily. We had heavy hearts hearing news that some hostages had been killed brutally under the step by step orders from their trainers. They were equipped and even asked what to eat, drink and how to kill the hostages! It seemed they were just used to strike terror in India by Master minds in 'Pak'. The taped conversations revealed it all and India shook up more..

I cant write much about the tragedy the city faced as it is quite disturbing and might disturb you too. Take a look at the pics, and let us all pray for the victims.. may their souls RIP and give their families strength as one year nears. There will be a remembrance programme held near the Taj and all are welcome..

Thank god am able to view my yahoo mail after efforts to do so.. it took me days, until because i was always greeted with this 'sign in again for security purposes' page over and over when i tried clicking on my mails to read or even few minutes after signing in. I literally got so nervous, and frustrated because at first i thought someone had compromised my yahoo account which is not so easy to do(;)), and for not able to read imp mails! I missed out on some imp opps too.. and of course post updates of all those i've subscribed too.

I guess i wouldn't have got rid of the problem if i didn't change my password! hehe.. and i thank one of my commentor's for this.. thank you so much LadyViral, i took a deeper thought on your suggestion and changed my password and now i don't get singed out anymore! The reason for the issue, i have no idea, but i guess it was a technical fault from yahoo itself. When i tried to search the solution to the error i got in IE browser(never got this in Mozilla though), they said they were aware of the issue and it would be resolved soon but in vain, until i changed my password. So if you encounter this problem too, just changed your password which is also recommend to do every month or i would recommend weekly!(security reasons, you know ;))

Backstreet boys had us rocking to their music in the 90's. I used to come back home during my vacations and remain glued to the TV, esp MTV and V channel. We had remote fighting sessions with my other siblings then.. ha ha.. I was the music lover! My bro was a cartoon fan(was little then, you know).. and my elder sister, a movie freak! This Song, and all the others bring back so many memories from the past.. :-)

Hope the video quality is fine coz i found many videos with disabled embedding.. had to pick this one so am sorry... anyway, Enjoy! :-)

My yahoo mail seems to get on my nerves past few days, for barely i login and try to read a mail, i get singed out. Either session expires or i need to type in my password for security reasons. The problem is, it happens only with one of my mails ID, the main one! I just don't know what to do coz i'm not able to read imp mails, and neither reply.

I did contact yahoo and they said the issue was of notice and would clear up within hours but it's days now and am worried if i don't to read to mails i'll be in quite a soup. What am i to do, what am i to do.. some frustrating moments of yahoo mail here..

I guess many of you know what's going on in this heart of mine, it's pounding twice as harder fearing some virus attack but even if that isn't the problem, coz i have a anti pro and am careful, but when will this get solved!!?? I think yahoo mails teasing me but it's too much ya, it's the limits! I need to get this working soon..

Who else is going through this?? let me know in the comment box..

The countdown to the Christmas holidays has begun and most families may have already planned their holiday trips. Some families move out to vacation homes and some just put up at hotels or resorts. This time book your hotel at a family all inclusive vacations resort. Give your family a chance to indulge in luxury which they will cherish forever.

Karishma hotels the 'divine favor', offers a string of five signature resorts that delivers A1 arrangements for their guests, each maintained for a certain age group, and Azul Sensatori Hotel is family oriented and mainly focuses on kids and teens activities. There are planners, loan services and club's where even kids would love spending their time playing their time with toys and programs by fisher price. All the resorts are designed to delight their guests with spas, beaches, and exclusive cuisine! Go and see for yourself :-)

Today is a better day, much relieved from stress and tensions as i move into my new home. Almost the whole of yesterday i was under the covers shivering and having body aces due to fever, and am not the one to fuss about doctors knowing it was just the stress factor and i would be back to normal the next day which i am, today. Just about managed to update the celeb blog and visit my friends at facebook! Yeah, not a day i can do without facebook no matter what state i am in.. :-)

Anyway, today we begin our new life.. the kids are adjusting to a new environment and they're enjoyed this spacious home we are in at the present. Alisha was missing her old home when she realized the cable Tv wasn't on, but hopefully the cable guy would transfer the old line here today in a few hours. I plan to purchase a shyshop(direct TV) very soon so no more dependency on the cable guys. Oh, and they're more close to my brothers place so they are very happy for two reasons, first they love their uncle and second they love playing with his dog, a Labrador! Hes a very intelligent dog, and Alisha says, "My Tyson, nice Tyson" while she pets and plays with him.. haha.. that's amazingly cute, ha? I'm still to post about her 3rd birthday party where she's wearing the princess dress i told you about weeks ago. :-)

I was searching for Rihanna's latest song but it's to be released on the 23rd of Nov, heard its the song that helped her recover from scars left by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Have you heard about it? Hmmm.. wanted to post it this week esp since all the 'hulla' around town is mainly about the assault on her, in Feb this year. She'd even been interviewed few days ago, where she gave an account of the drama that that happened that night of the awards. I pity the singer and its a good thing they spit!

Anyway.. this post is not about Rihanna but you could watch Taylor Swift strum her guitar with a few senti words. Enjoy this soft/slow video, by Taylor, and i'll come with a peppy dance number next week.. :-) Enjoy the week ahead too! :-)

Technorati.com has gigantically redesigned its site which is now 1o times more difficult to navigate. I mean, i wanted to take a look at my authority, add a few more favorites but i was in for a whole new surprise and for a moment i thought maybe i'd signed into an account i created long time ago. It was the same active one but my display pic, along with the reactions and favorites were missing! I even couldn't find the widget and code section. I guess the changes were made during Oct and i had been there few weeks ago. Reading the comments i assumed many aren't pleased with the vast changes made, but technorati still convinces that there are features yet to be investigated and will be updated soon. If you haven't logged in since then i guess when you do login you will have to update your account and upload your profile pic again..

It did take me hours to understand what’s happening on the site after reading through their Blog and Support section but frankly speaking, i'm personally not pleased at all with the re-launch as i cant even find the codes or widget section! Maybe if it is still there, i'll take me additional time to understand how to go about things on the site. If i am successful i'll let you all know.. hehe..

The most exciting thing so far was that my authority count short up to 422! It was just about 30 the last time i checked it but i don't think they had been updating at that time despite a lot of complaints and requests. I guess they've changed some features for the better and hope they change it to a whole new understandable and acceptable website. :-)

The joy of raising a baby

We’re glad you joined our family,
Yet some things make us wonder;
How can a little package like you
Have a voice that’s loud as thunder?

You are so small and oh so cute,
But you are never very shy,
For whenever you want something,
You just open your mouth and cry.

First you moved on hands and knees,
Then you were up on your feet.
We’re chasing you all around the house;
We’re tired; we need a retreat!

Some food is on the table;
Some food is on the floor;
Seems the only place food didn’t go,
Is in the baby we adore.

Diapers here and diapers there,
Stinky... smelly... Whew!
Diapers would have done us in,
If we didn’t love you as we do.

We’re glad you joined our family,
You’re a unique and wonderful treasure.
So, despite the work of raising you,
Being your parents is a total pleasure!

I am a bit worried today reading some blogs which have stated they haven't been paid by payingpost.com or blogsadvertising.com since months and months! Omg, my heart began to sink while reading those posts because i've already completed and beyond the $100 threshold, which the paid to review site offers. When i first signed up, i was quite assured i'd reach the $25 which was months ago, and would be paid immediately. The threshold extended to $50 weeks later for the reason that there were less bloggers/advertisers and to further or better the site by its payments and opportunities. At present its a $100 threshold.

Anyway, having completed and more.. i was waiting to receive my payment on the 1st which is the date they are supposed to make their payments. Its three days gone and so i decided to search and see what others have to say, and some of them have blurted out that its a scam site! I wish i could also receive my payments like some of the bloggers who tried protesting and finally succeeded. I think i'll prefer to wait for a few more days until i mail them again and keep mailing them till they pay me the money i deserve. I've never had problems with sites like Blogsvertise.com, Buyblogreviews.com, Smorty.com, Get Paid Blogging , sponsoredreviews.com and some more(will update later). I hope payingpost gives me a chance to add their site to one of these. I just want to remain a contented paid reviewer and be rewarded for my share of hard work. That's all i can say for now about them :-)

If any of you experienced the same, please do comment in the box below.. we can at least discuss :-)

If you haven't yet submitted your video to win the grand prize of $5,000 then quickly do create your video and submit it as soon as possible for this opportunity doesn't always come knocking at your door. People walk into a relationship romantically but at some point of time it starts to fade, blame it on the other demands. Why wait for something bitter when you are the one who can keep a relationship from withering? romance is one element that needs to be active all the time whether you are near or far.

If you are a male facing a relationship problem with your spouse, girlfriend or stable partner? these wonderful romantic tips and ideas can help you keep both remain romantically healthy. Cajoling/attention, flowers/chocolates are always first preferences but wait.. including these, there are lots more you can do to show how special she is in your life! go for it!

Roses on blades! haha.. Put rose petals above the blades on a fan and as the lady takes her place beneath the fan, switch it on, and she'll be delighted to bathe under the shower of sweet smelling petals! just don't forget to spray some perfume on the petals..

Take her to movies, go fountain visiting and toss in a coin making a wish together.

During a conversation ask your girlfriend casually about her favorite things, make a secret list and keep it with you. In the case of music.. sing those songs and burn them in a CD, then gift it to her as a surprise. You both could have a romantic laugh or two!

Or, why not strum the guitar and sing to her whilst on a candle night dinner at home or near the fireplace..

When you call at the times she at work, ask for the most beautiful person in the world(but only to her)..

Places to leave a romantic note-
In the refrigerator..
Jewelery box
Make up kit
As a bookmark(page being read).

Gather the pictures of your school, collage or courting time and upload them to a popular site as facebook etc.. write romantic captions about how you felt during that particular shot. You can also gift her the photos personalizing it decoratively.

Set aside a date for putting up with all the household chores yourself. Name it a wife's/woman's monthly day off, and do all the things she wants and decides!

Stroll with your partner beside a beach or in an open space after dinner, whether at home or out.

Let her wake up to a ready made breakfast.

She would love self personalized gifts.. it expresses the time, effort and love you've put into it.

Will update as time permits :-)

According to msnbc.com the people who went to watch the midnight show of 'This Is It' were moved to tears and joy. Fans screamed and cried and thought endlessly about the late pop star.

Among, the celebrities who went to watch the midnight show were actors Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Lopez, Paula Abdul, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Will Smith, Paris Hilton and many other hollywood stars.

Basically a compilation of interviews, rehearsals and backstage footage of Michael Jackson as he prepared for his series of sold-out shows in London.

Near the film's end, Jackson and the crew hold hands as he gives them a pep talk about the London shows.

"It's a great adventure," Jackson tells his colleagues. "We want to take them places they've never been before. We have to bring love back into the world." In time this broadcast may very well be available on DVD. That's a DVD I'll get, even if it requires me to get a cash advance.

I've watched plenty of movies on Halloween night but to experience it in person would an entirely different experience, really frightening.. it’s something i have never seen or witnessed in person. Must be eerie and spooky like the movies, eh!? but something totally amusing.. i know, i know.. i've also grown up reading and hearing about it in books, and from my relatives and friends who live in those foreign lands :-)

Though i have watched movies depicting Halloween celebrations and heard so much, i was still oblivious to many questions i had in mind. Well, at last i couldn't stop myself from curiously hopping around the internet for history, traditions, activities, and some safety tips regarding the much awaited Halloween night.

I also know it’s a night where kids are prone to accidents. It’s obvious, and important as parents to practice cautiousness on festivals and occasions. To ensure everyone has a safe Halloween i've put down a few Halloween safety tips, and activities for kids. This is a post from my other blog (pregnancy and parenting).

I wish i could be part of the celebrations, i know i cant, but i can.. wish you all a HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN :-)

I couldn't believe when i saw this unusual sight because this is the first time i have seen a human mermaid. Shiloh, aged 10, looked so cheerful in the video right down, but now she is safer in the lords care. It is sad that this intelligent and beautiful little girl is no more. She died on Friday 23rd from a pneumonia following a cold and was hospitalized days prior to her death.

She was very famously known as the mermaid girl who was born with a rare condition called 'mermaid syndrome'. Her legs were fused together from the waist. She had no genital organs and only one kidney worked partially. At her birth, doctors assumed she wouldn't survive for more than hours or maybe days, but they were proven wrong and the little girl lived 10 years of her life in zest. In some cases the legs could be separated but Shiloh's surgery couldn't be done for her blood vessels that crossed from side to side in her circulatory system, could have been severed.

Its a happy/sad story, the whole of it from her birth till she dies. I'm overwhelmed with remorse right now.. she also had the privilege to feature on The Oprah Winfrey show

May her soul RIP.. and my thoughts and prayers to the family in these tough hours.

Elders bath robes
When i was young i loved to be snuggled in a bath wrap once out of the shower. My mom used to bath me with immense care, she'd see to it that the soap and shampoo never swept into my tender eyes because i hated the burning sensation. I know you all do, but it was a mothers love i miss so much. I hated the cold breeze hitting on my skin after a warm bath, and the ordinary bath robe did save my skin a lot.

I'm no more a child to be fooled into ordinary towels wraps, i'd prefer a terry bath robe these days if i were given a chance. Its thick and would keep me warm from the cold breeze that i hate, especially the winters. We are fine with cold baths in India! But, even then i would only wear it when the kids are out. :-)

Kids bath robes

I saw a few soft minty ones for kids, they'll love it and you wouldn't have to chase them for baths then. The parents i assume, wouldn't worry to spend an extra dime on a waffle bath robe for self pampering too, because they're worth it!

Its early morning and my neighbors have woken me up really much earlier than my usual wake up time! I can tell by the music that plays in the surrounding! Today is their holy festival of chhat puja. Mostly the Bihari's(people of different state in India) celebrate this festival and i am obviously not very aware about its history being non hindu but am always anxious to understand each festival and why it is celebrated and i'll admit i understand that most people celebrate their festivals by religious observance, fasting and feasting?

I don't think all of the hindus celebrate. I guess, the people who reside in the northern parts of India(Bihar) celebrate this festival for family protection, health and prosperity. They dip themselves in the river Ganga after fasting and making an offering to the sun god. Its a four day festival and a colorful one. I've never seen so many devotees, like in lakhs, offer prayers almost half dipped in the rivers before and i must get to watch this someone. Would be a great view.. watch it for yourself :-)
