i adored princess Diana as a small girl, going through books and photos my granddad had a great collection of.she was, what i thought i would be when i grew up:) thought i'd get to marry a prince;)i admired her beauty both internal and external.remember the Diana cut? how i wished i had that hairstyle but sadly it wouldnt suit my face:(couldn't match Diana's.

i would often read about her childhood which consisted of a bitterness due to her parents divorce which landed her into a boarding school.not being very good at school, she excelled high in sports.worked as a nanny, cook and even an assistant in a kinder garden.though they, princes Charles and princess Diana had nothing in common and an age difference of 13 years, were yet in love and so they engaged but later it was revealed Charles did not love the princess, he thought he could.. oh i feel like banging his head with my frying pan!

the wedding took place in grand splendour and under the watchful eyes of her mother, and on the reassuring arm of her father, Diana prepared to take her wedding vows... married on the 24th of feb 1981 just one day before i was born! post marriage she seemed so genuinely pleased to be with ordinary folk, even if she could no longer be ordinary herself.within a year of her marriage she gave birth to a son, prince William who became the first male heir to go to kindergarten.she ensured her children attended public, rather than private school.

she was always so affectionate and caring to the disabled and rejected... always spent time with her charity and social work but by the time her second son, prince harry was born, the marriage had begun to turn rocky.soon they even announced their divorce which led many of our hearts to sink... how could this fairytale wedding come to an end but little was it known that even whilst they were often seen together, they were in fact apart!

she continued her work even after the separation but pressure on her by the popular papers was relentless and stories of her men friends damaged her image as the wronged wife.princess Diana began a love affair with Dodi Fayed, the son of billionaire businessman but heir romance ended abruptly in 1997 when both were killed in a car accident in Paris while fleeing from paparazzi.

princess Dianas sudden death led to an unprecedented worldwide outpouring of grief and love.as her brother said at her funeral, she was "the unique, the complex, the extraordinary and irreplacable Diana, whose beauty, both internal and external, will never be extinguished from our minds.

the world may or may not miss her but shes still there in the hearts of many of her admirers and me being one... princess Diana, we all love you! what in your opinion.. was princess diana to the world?
