I am so happy and excited to be moving to a new home in few days, but now the anticipation seems rising on the double because of the hope to begin a new life asap.... tried of living in conditions pretty uncomfortable to my mental and physical state, and its beginning to take its toll on me, beginning to suffocate literally. Cant stand it no longer, really...

Moving to a new home wasn't and will never be easy due to all the packing responsibilities. Plus, the unpacking... its too tiresome. And then the challenging task of trying to get the equally mentally stressed out kids excited and energized, if you have any, while motivating yourself to adjust as well.

First of all i want to share the Google pr update and increase excitement. This blog shot up from pr0 to pr3! honestly speaking this came as a real surprise to me and though i did expect a tiny increase this time, unlike during the previous few updates, i was happily greeted with extra blessings while updating my blogs on one of the paid to review sites. When i saw Nishas world displaying pr3 instead of pr0 i literally sprang out of my chair to tell hubby! on his suggestion i checked up, and there it is, the rank is being displayed on the left column. Today we celebrated fathers day, with great fun and fervor just like we did on mothers day. My daughter Alisha (3yrs) and son Aryan (10yrs) made sure they gifted their beloved father a hand drawing each and chocolates, but of course, what can you expect from a 3yr old baby girl... though she did quite well compared to last year... she expressed her love in the form of scribbles well and of course thankfully she allowed papa (her father) to take (only) a bite of his own gift!!.. hehe

Very bored as i'm not allowed to do a stroke of work at home being ill... i'm still on the treatment which is on its 4th month now and could take few more! Its nothing too serious but maybe for some it'll be surprising and those who know me very well had expected i'll be falling sick badly and all because of my neglectful self towards my health. The strong medication bothers me a lot and of course the changing weather. Sometimes its very hot and sometimes it thundershowers. Now you tell me how wouldn't this affect me? ;)

We were waiting when the monsoons would arrive but there's no sign until now, so we'll have to keep waiting... while the sun keeps shining and for the drops of relief to pour on us :)

Its a day, we are sweating it out in the heat! i thought why not prepare a refreshing drink to help quench the thirst. Mango lassi(yogurt) cool-drink

Ingredients:
3 glasses of yogurt (use a glass you will serve the lassi in, to measure)
1 glass of crushed ice (measure as above)
1 glass ripe mango pieces or pulp
Sugar to taste/unsweetened fruit juice or pulp
1 tsp slivered almonds for each glass
A dollop of thick cream for each glass (optional)

Preparation:
Put the yogurt, mango, ice and sugar/juice/pulp in a blender and blend till smooth.
Pour out into glasses, top with a dollop of cream each and slivered almonds and serve.

Spiced lime(lemonade) juice

Ingredients:
Juice of 4 lemons
Sugar/honey to taste
2 tbsps Jaljira powder (available at most Indian groceries)
Chilled water
Crushed ice
Lemon slices to garnish

Preparation:
Squeeze all lemons to remove juice and strain the juice to remove seeds. Pour into a large jug.
Add all the remaining ingredients to get desired strength and sweetness and mix well.
Serve in chilled glasses garnished with lemon slices.
