Tomorrow is a favorable day to go out shopping, and even if it rains, i wont let it rain on my parade. We are shopping for the festival of id-ul-fitr coming up once Ramadan ends, we all need to get dressed in our best to celebrate Eid. But Eid is not the festival where our celebrations end, for there are occasions lined up and calling for celebrations throughout the remaining part of this year. This month we will be celebrating Eid, and next month on October we'll be celebrating my baby's 4th birthday! That gives us a lot of excuses for shopping, shopping and shopping ;)

Tomorrow i planned to buy my kids clothes, as mine i've already bought and handed over to my tailors for tailoring. i'm quite close to the delivery date so really excited. I love Indian suits and thats what i mostly wear but i hate ready made ones so i buy the material and tailor make them. You get good fit and design as well. Anyways, i still have two more rounds of shopping for i'll never accomplish buying the whole list i planned! from clothes, shoes, accessories, make-up, to curtains, bed-spreads, couch covers to a whole cupboard of food items to toys and crockery, and etc, etc, etc! dinner out of course! phew! i am already famished, what about tomorrow? ;)

Steam burned my fingers accidentally while cooking today as i tried lifting the lid of the pan that was cooking my chicken!! I usually remove the lib sideways to prevent the mishap all the time but today i quite absentmindedly removed the lib top ways, forgetting steam can severely burn flesh... honestly i've been burned by oil, water and what not in my kitchen but evaporation caused steam burns are extremely painful and damaging too.

I had tears in my eyes as Alisha looked on scared, and said "my little mamma got burnt". I didn't know whether to love her or treat my burn first, because i was in extreme pain! :(

I quickly dipped my palm and hands in cold water and then applied toothpaste for that instant soothing effect. Unluckily i didn't have any cream for burn treatment as we hardly need it at home, but i felt better once the toothpaste dried and now i got to wait for blisters to form and then lets see... I swear to be careful in future or else i will be landing up cooking, typing, bathing, etc... with only one hand. I am really on cloud 9 these days because my online earnings are soaring high and i am able to fulfill a lot of wishes, maybe simple ones like buying new furniture or gadgets or giving my home and myself a makeover! I wouldn't really like to say these are simple wishes because giving myself a makeover is a dream which i am about to accomplish. Oh, i had a great weekend with my relatives over at my place, they stayed over the night too but they're left for their own home and it feels quite gloomy now. Its always too disappointing when your relatives leave for their own home after a stay at your place, right? you may have also experienced this... we had kids play, scream and fight about the place and it was really a treat to watch them. None of suffered from toothaches before and Aryans was out of the blue. I felt so sad watching him cry restlessly and all i could do was helplessly comfort him by teaching him mind healing techniques. Thats what i do when i'm in pain or targeted with headaches, but i guess toothaches are terrible...

Towards morning, when i saw he was still not able to sleep due to the pain i searched for home remedies and found many but the problem was that i didn't even have many of the herbs or spices like clove suggested for the treatment. I already know clove or clove oil is a popular remedy but i didn't even have a single piece. I tried the simplest remedy with onion! I read that onions has antiseptic properties/characteristics and can help in relieving toothaches, if a piece in placed between the affected tooth. This helps to ease the pain if not completely eliminate it.

I convinced my reluctant boy to try it, but he spat it out after a while. I told him not to consume too much cold drinks as too much intake of artificial sugar can cause tooth decay which is formed by the bacteria breaking up sugar into acids, and when its combined with the calcium in the enamel, it threatens our tooth and gums. I asked him to watch TV so that his mind diverts and i suddenly realized he was of to sleep. Maybe the onion and self mind healing technique helped him to some extent.. or was it just the TV! what say??

Last year i had watched a program on AXN which was tittled 'magic secrets revealed' and was shocked at the truth! actually though we all know what we see is what is not, yet we believe, right? and thats why magic shows are loved by its audience, but i wish curiosity was let to linger on our minds so that we could have creative things to ponder about like "how did the magician cut through the girl, or how did a bus disappear into thin air, or how is the sadhu(Indian yogis) levitating!!??"... we all know it now but wish the secrets were never allowed to be out, for magic will never remain the same again. YouTube users call the masked man who demonstrates the magic secrets as 'mean' which he is to great extent! Don't you also think so?

I guess many of us also wished we could perform magic in front of our friends but how can we excel in the art of performing magic? practice, practice and practice... i will post about magic tricks for kids on my 'pregnancy and parenting' blog soon.

I posted Michaels eerie 'Triller' as i enjoyed watching it once again while browsing through MJ's music videos, and believe me, every time i watch this i freak out and i will never watch it alone during the night! hehehe... though i must admit i loved the zombies dancing which was so well choreographed.

I allowed Aryan and Alisha to watch the vid with me but without music as i thought it wasn't suitable for them to watch it with the scary music. They were fascinated by zombies dancing which they hadn't seen in the movies.. Alisha said "i am not cared(scared) mamma" to which i replied "yeah my baby's not getting scared, good girl, good girl" ;)
